Shipping Policy

Thank you for choosing GST Gear LLC (“GST Gear,” “we,” “us”) for your professional equipment and system needs. We are committed to delivering high-quality products and reliable service. Please review the following Shipping Policy carefully to ensure a smooth delivery experience.

Important Highlights

  • Upon delivery, all shipments must be opened, inspected, and counted immediately.

  • Any visible damage, shortage, or discrepancy must be documented with photos and reported to us within 48 hours of receipt.

  • All freight deliveries require a signature upon receipt.

  • Please ensure this information is shared with the person responsible for receiving the shipment at your location.

Freight & Large Truck Delivery

Many GST Gear products ship via freight or large truck due to size, weight, or packaging requirements.

Delivery Access & Equipment

  • If your location does not have a loading dock or forklift, you may require liftgate service.

  • Liftgate service must be requested in advance and may incur additional charges.

  • Limited access locations (narrow roads, restricted driveways, construction sites, etc.) can affect delivery feasibility and cost. Please notify us of any such conditions prior to shipment.

Unloading Responsibilities

  • Standard freight delivery is curbside or loading dock delivery only, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

  • Customers are responsible for unloading freight from the truck once delivered to the designated accessible point.

  • Some oversized or heavy items cannot be unloaded using a liftgate and may require manual assistance. In such cases, customers must arrange adequate personnel or equipment to assist with unloading.

Inside Delivery / White Glove Service

  • Inside delivery or “White Glove” service (bringing items indoors, upstairs, unpacking, or placement) is not included by default.

  • Such services are available upon request and at additional cost, subject to carrier availability.

  • If your delivery location requires special handling (e.g., upper floors, confined spaces, restricted access), this must be disclosed in advance so we can provide an accurate quote.

Delivery Scheduling & Timing

  • Freight carriers may attempt a pre-delivery call, but this is not guaranteed.

  • If you require advance delivery notification, please inform us during ordering.

  • Delivery dates and transit times are estimates only and cannot be guaranteed.

  • GST Gear is not responsible for delays caused by carriers, weather, port congestion, customs clearance, or other factors beyond our control.

Once tracking information is issued, customers may contact the carrier directly for real-time delivery updates.

Shipping Rates & Additional Charges

Shipping costs are calculated based on:

  • Weight and dimensions

  • Shipping method

  • Destination and accessibility

  • Requested special services

Additional charges may apply for:

  • Liftgate service

  • Expedited shipping

  • Remote or limited-access locations

  • Special handling or appointment delivery

  • Shipments outside the contiguous United States

All applicable shipping costs will be disclosed in advance or reflected in the final invoice.

Shipping Methods

GST Gear ships using trusted carrier partners, selected based on shipment requirements:

  • Small packages or parts: courier services (e.g., UPS, FedEx, DHL)

  • Large, heavy, or oversized items: freight or palletized truck delivery

  • Expedited shipping options may be available at additional cost upon request

International & Non-Contiguous Shipping

  • GST Gear ships internationally and to non-contiguous U.S. locations (e.g., Alaska, Hawaii, territories) by quotation only.

  • Customers are responsible for customs duties, import taxes, brokerage fees, and local compliance, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

  • International deliveries may be subject to customs delays beyond our control.

Risk of Loss

Unless otherwise agreed in writing:

  • Risk of loss transfers to the customer upon shipment from our facility, in accordance with the applicable Incoterms or sales agreement.

  • Customers are strongly encouraged to arrange cargo insurance, particularly for high-value or international shipments.

Return Policy

At GST Gear LLC (“GST Gear,” “we,” “us”), our goal is to build long-term relationships with our clients by delivering reliable, professional-grade equipment and services. While most of our products are custom-built or project-specific, we understand that, in limited circumstances, a return may be necessary. This policy outlines when and how returns may be accepted.

What Is GST Gear’s General Return Policy?

Unless otherwise agreed in writing:

  • GST Gear accepts returns only for new, unused, and uninstalled products in their original packaging.

  • Return requests must be submitted within 14 calendar days of delivery.

  • All returns require prior written approval and a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) issued by GST Gear.

  • Products returned without an RMA will be refused and returned at the customer’s expense.

Due to the nature of professional equipment and freight shipping, restocking fees apply to approved returns.

Restocking Fees

Approved returns are subject to the following standard restocking fees, based on product category:

  • 25% – Structural, mechanical, or heavy equipment (including truss, staging, winches, hoists, automation hardware, carts, and similar items)

  • 15% – Accessories, spare parts, and non-structural components

Restocking fees are applied to cover inspection, handling, repackaging, and inventory processing costs.

Return Shipping Costs

  • All return shipping, insurance, customs duties, and brokerage fees are the responsibility of the customer.

  • Original shipping and handling charges are non-refundable.

  • Returned products must be shipped using a traceable and insured carrier.

  • Risk of loss during return shipment remains with the customer.

Return Conditions

To be eligible for return:

  • Products must be unused, uninstalled, and unmodified.

  • Products must be returned in original packaging, or packaging of equivalent strength and protection.

  • If the product was shipped disassembled, it must be returned disassembled.

  • All components, accessories, manuals, and documentation must be included.

GST Gear reserves the right to inspect all returned items before approving any refund or credit.

Which Items Are Not Returnable?

The following items are non-returnable and non-refundable, except where required by applicable law:

  • Custom-built, made-to-order, or project-specific products

  • Products manufactured or configured to customer specifications

  • Open-box or demo items

  • Clearance or final-sale items

  • Personalized or branded items

  • Electrical, mechanical, or automation products that have been powered, wired, installed, or commissioned

  • Bundled products sold at discounted rates (unless the entire bundle is returned and approved)

  • Items marked as “Non-Returnable” in quotations, invoices, or product descriptions

GST Gear cannot accept returns for products that show signs of use, installation, or damage not caused during shipping.

Defective, Incorrect, or Damaged Products

If you believe you received a defective, incorrect, or damaged product:

  • Notify GST Gear within 48 hours of delivery

  • Provide clear photos, serial numbers, and a detailed description of the issue

  • Shipping damage must be noted on the delivery receipt at the time of delivery

GST Gear will review the claim and determine whether repair, replacement, or credit is appropriate, in accordance with applicable warranty terms.

Refunds & Credits

  • Approved refunds or credits are issued after returned items are received and inspected.

  • Refunds may be issued to the original payment method or as a credit, at GST Gear’s discretion.

  • Processing times vary depending on payment method and financial institutions.

Policy Exceptions

GST Gear reserves the right to:

  • Deny return requests that do not meet this policy

  • Apply alternative resolutions based on contractual agreements, warranties, or project terms

Nothing in this policy limits rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
