WARRANTY

Limited Warranty

This Limited Warranty applies to products manufactured and/or supplied by GST Gear LLC (“GST Gear,” “we,” “us”) and purchased directly from GST Gear or an authorized GST Gear distributor.

This Limited Warranty must be read together with GST Gear’s Terms, Conditions, and Product Disclaimer, which form an integral part of all sales.

1. Limited Warranty Scope 

GST Gear warrants that, under normal and intended use, products supplied will be free from defects in materials and workmanship during the applicable warranty period.

This Limited Warranty applies strictly to manufacturing defects only.

This warranty does NOT guarantee:

  • System performance

  • Application suitability

  • Fitness for a specific use

  • Compliance with any engineering or safety requirements

2. Equipment Supply Only 

GST Gear LLC acts solely as an equipment supplier.

This Limited Warranty does NOT include:

  • Engineering design

  • Load calculations

  • System integration

  • Installation or commissioning

  • Safety certification or approval

Any technical assistance or guidance provided:
Is informational only
Does NOT constitute engineering advice
Does NOT modify or expand this warranty

3. Warranty Period

Unless otherwise stated in writing:

Standard Warranty Period: One (1) year from date of delivery

Applies to:

  • Winches and automation equipment

  • Electric chain hoists

  • Truss systems

  • Stage platforms

  • Mechanical and electrical components

Third-Party Components

Certain components (motors, drives, encoders, etc.):

  • May be covered by original manufacturer warranties

  • GST Gear does not extend coverage beyond those terms unless agreed in writing

Repairs / Replacements

Do NOT:

  • Extend

  • Renew

  • Restart

the original warranty period.

4. Extended Warranty 

Extended warranties:

  • Must be requested before purchase

  • Must be confirmed in writing

  • Extend time only (NOT scope)

Extended warranty DOES NOT:

  • Expand coverage scope

  • Cover misuse or improper application

  • Include labor, travel, or on-site service

Eligibility Requirements-To maintain warranty validity:

  • Operate within rated specifications

  • Follow proper installation and maintenance

  • No unauthorized modifications

GST Gear may request:

  • Maintenance logs

  • Inspection records

5. Who Is Covered

This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is non-transferable, unless approved in writing.

6. What Is Covered

Covered ONLY if ALL conditions are met:

  • Verified defect in materials or workmanship

  • Occurs within warranty period

  • Used within rated specifications

  • Proper installation and operation

GST Gear determines validity at its sole discretion.

7. What Is Not Covered 

This warranty DOES NOT cover:

Normal / Operational Factors

  • Wear and tear

  • Routine maintenance

  • Consumables

Installation / Use Issues

  • Improper installation or commissioning

  • Misuse or abuse

  • Operation outside rated limits

  • Improper rigging or structural use

External / Environmental Causes

  • Overloading or shock loading

  • Environmental exposure (moisture, corrosion, chemicals)

  • Electrical issues (voltage, wiring, grounding)

  • Storage / handling damage

Unauthorized Actions

  • Modifications

  • Repairs without approval

  • Use of non-approved parts

Commercial Impact

  • Downtime

  • Loss of use

  • Project delays

Logistics

  • Shipping damage (handled separately)

8. Defect VS Damage 

Defect = covered (if valid)
Damage = NOT covered

Examples of NON-warranty damage:

  • Improper system design

  • Incorrect load calculations

  • Inadequate rigging

  • Integration errors

  • Misapplication

9. Claim Procedure 

To submit a claim:

Must provide:

  • Proof of purchase

  • Model / serial number

  • Description of issue

  • Photos / videos

  • Installation and operating details

IMPORTANT:

  • RMA REQUIRED before return

  • Unauthorized returns will be refused

GST Gear may require inspection before approval.

10. Remedies

If claim is approved, GST Gear may:

  • Repair

  • Replace

  • Provide replacement parts

At GST Gear’s sole discretion

NOT COVERED:

  • Labor

  • Installation / removal

  • Travel

  • On-site service

  • Downtime / delays

11. Limitation Of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

  • GST Gear liability is limited to the purchase price

  • No indirect, incidental, consequential damages

Including:

  • Loss of profit

  • Loss of use

  • Project delays

12. Disclaimer Of Warranties

This is the sole and exclusive warranty.

All other warranties are disclaimed, including:

  • Merchantability

  • Fitness for a particular purpose

13. No Performance Or Safety Guarantee 

GST Gear does NOT guarantee:

  • System performance

  • Load outcomes

  • Safety of application

These are solely the responsibility of:
Buyer + their engineers

14. Buyer Responsibilities  

Buyer is fully responsible for:

  • Engineering design

  • Load calculations

  • Safety verification

  • Compliance with codes

15. Governing Law

This Limited Warranty is governed by the laws of the State of Nevada.

16. Changes

GST Gear may revise this warranty at any time.

Changes apply only to future purchases.
